wedding1Out of many special moments in one’s life, their own wedding often tops the charts. You want that special day when you and the person you love join in matrimony to be perfect and flawless. You have probably meticulously planned out every little detail of the big day, but one thing that might have slipped your mind is picking the right limousine.

Once you have exchanged your vows, said yes to each other and put rings on each other’s fingers, it is time to leave the wedding ceremony in style. It has long been considered tradition for newlyweds to leave the wedding ceremony in a limousine with its own chauffeur. You want everyone to know how proud you are of what just happened, and that includes going off to your honeymoon in as expensive and extravagant a ride as possible, seeing as how it’s a day that you and your other half will remember for decades to come.

The type of limousine one chooses for their wedding can differ considerably. Some choose something more compact and modest, while others go all out and pick the longest limo they can find to commemorate the occasion. Some prefer the limo to be white to match the wedding theme while others prefer the usual black. Regardless of what your choice is in the end, make sure it’s one that both parties agree to, as you want every detail to be as perfect as it can. You wouldn’t pick a church that doesn’t seem right, nor would the bride pick a wedding dress that doesn’t completely agree with her, so why settle for anything but the best limo for the both of you?

Some also feel it is tradition to place several tied cans hanging from threads at the end of the limo, but that can often seem tacky and completely ruin the classy theme of the ride. If you are not one of the people who find this practice mandatory, then you should probably forgo it completely as it gives a very out-of-place look. With how pristine the entire ceremony is, including the groom and bride’s clothing, you shouldn’t look to add a junkyard touch to the affair unless your significant other insists on it.

There aren’t really many plausible alternatives to having a limousine escort you to your honeymoon, as it’s considered improper for either the groom or the bride to be driving a vehicle right after they have joined in holy matrimony. Instead, look to rent a limousine from a limo rental company, as they come with their own designated chauffeur who will stay with you for as long as it’s needed before taking the limo back to the company. That way, you and your partner will feel as special as possible and, many years from now, you will look back on the day of your wedding, possibly the happiest day of your lives, and remember how perfect the whole thing was, including the means you used to leave the wedding scene and make your way to married life.
